Life Drawing

An understanding of how the body is put together and how it works is essential when creating figurative works.

The human figure is one of the most enduring themes in the visual arts and life drawing skills are evident in our artistic heritage since prehistoric times.

As a figurative artist I regularly attend a Life Class in Glasgow and enjoy the process of looking at  and recording what I see in front of me. We have excellent male and female models of all shapes, ages and sizes to work with so there is always plenty of variety.
