As a ‘people person’ I find I am particularly drawn to figurative work, especially portraiture. However recently I have found a renewed passion for drawing things around me such as street scenes, cityscapes, pets and animals - anything that fires my imagination really.

I enjoy working with Pastels and Conte Crayons but have also branched out and have been using different media like the new Derwent Artbars (messy but fun!) along with traditional charcoal, chalk , gouache , watercolour and graphite. More recent work has been completed using the iPad which I often use to work out  preliminary sketches for works on canvas and paper.
